COMMUNITY RETAILERApproved applicant
Applicant details are completed on the final agreement after approval.
01
Purpose of the programme
The Tehila Brands Community Retailer Programme gives approved individuals an opportunity to sell Tehila Brands products in their communities. Participation is subject to approval, available stock and compliance with this agreement.
02
Independent status
The Community Retailer participates as an independent seller. The retailer is not an employee, agent, franchisee or legal representative of Tehila Brands and may not bind Tehila Brands to any promise, debt or agreement.
03
Refundable deposit
After approval and before stock is issued, the retailer pays a R100 refundable security and commitment deposit. The deposit is not payment for stock and does not guarantee income. It may be refunded when the relationship ends, provided all stock, money and other amounts due have been fully reconciled and settled.
04
Starter stock
Tehila Brands may issue approximately 10 starter products. The exact quantity, product mix, approved selling prices and applicable arrangements will be confirmed in writing before stock is handed over. Both parties must sign the stock issue record.
05
Ownership and care of stock
All stock issued remains the property of Tehila Brands until it is sold and fully accounted for. The retailer must store, handle and protect the products carefully and may not alter, relabel, open, transfer, pledge or use stock for personal purposes without written approval.
06
Approved selling activity
The retailer may sell through approved community channels and must represent Tehila Brands honestly. Products must be sold at the prices and under the conditions communicated by Tehila Brands. False claims, misleading conduct and unauthorised discounts are prohibited.
07
Earnings
Earnings and any applicable sales arrangement will be communicated separately and agreed in writing before stock is issued. This agreement does not guarantee sales, profit or income.
08
Sales money
Money collected from Tehila Brands product sales must be kept safe and separate from personal money. The amount due to Tehila Brands must be paid by the agreed reconciliation deadline. Sales money may not be borrowed, withheld or used for personal expenses.
09
Reconciliation and restocking
The retailer must provide accurate stock and sales information when requested. Stock, sales and money must be reconciled before further stock is issued. Tehila Brands may delay or refuse restocking where records or payments are incomplete.
10
Reporting problems and ending participation
Loss, theft, damage, customer complaints or any other problem affecting stock or sales money must be reported promptly. Either party may end participation. On termination, all unsold stock, sales records and money due must be returned or settled before the deposit is considered for refund.
11
Lost, damaged or unaccounted stock
The Community Retailer is responsible for any stock that is lost, stolen, damaged, missing, misused, given away, concealed or otherwise unaccounted for while under the retailer’s control. The retailer must pay Tehila Brands the full applicable amount for that stock and receives no earnings on it. Tehila Brands may apply the R100 deposit toward the amount due, but any remaining balance remains payable. No further stock will be issued until the matter has been fully settled.
Important: Applying is free. Do not pay the R100 deposit with your application. Tehila Brands requests it only after approval and acceptance of the agreement.
